In keeping with the themes of repentance and reconciliation with God during the season of Lent, Katherine Turner and William Walker have compiled and edited a collection of Lenten Devotionals. Each day from Ash Wednesday (March 6) through the Saturday before Easter (April 20) there will be a scripture passage followed by reflections written by members of the Emmanuel Church family. We hope that all our members will read them and reflect on God's Holy Word.
We have offerings for all ages, most of which take place on Sunday mornings 9:30-10:30, during the school year. Nursery care is available for the littlest ones on the lower floor of the building before and during the 10:30 a.m. service (10:00 a.m. in the summer).

PAX does a selection of youth activities throughout the year, both service-related projects in the community as well as fun outings. We can always use adult volunteers to help chaperone events and/or share skills and talents with our youth (teach bread baking, share experiences you've had, help us make casseroles for the Valley Mission, etc.)

Classes usually begin in the Fall and are determined by the bishop's visitation. We meet two Sundays per month during the Sunday School hour (specific schedule TBD). We will be seeking "Mentors" from the congregation for this group of confirmands. This is a great way for our young people to get to know other members of our church family.
